Halasana aka Plow Pose
I'm head over heels for this pose ;-)
Usually taught after Sarvangasana ( Shoulder Stand )
Great Mood Neutralizer - if your feeling anxious it calms you if your feeling lethargic it boost your energy level
Relaxes the nervous system
Stimulates the Thyroid
Stretches shoulders & Spine

From Shoulderstand Sarvangasana exhale toes to the floor beyond your head
-Lift top thigh  & tail bone towards the ceiling
-Draw chin away from sternum soften through the throat area
- you can continue to push your lower back up towards the sky  or you may release that hold pressing your arms actively down into your mat

release by returning to Shouldstand and slowly release on exhalation....
